"The Big Clip Art Show No.1" now showing at The Grit in Athens, Georgia

Hooray, our first show is up at The Grit, showing through May 15th (or so). 13 cut-outs using all sorts of images. Some are old advertising illustrations, some are current product brands. We're not picky, we'll steal anything if it looks good!

30th Anniversary Birdhouse Auction

So our birdhouse isn't a part of The Big Clip Art Show, but i thought i should post it here just to get the work out about the auction. Please come by if you can.

Here are pictures of a birdhouse that Chris built and i painted that we have donated to an auction to be held this Saturday, May 2 at 7pm at The Lyndon House Arts Center here in Athens. The auction benefits Athens Montessori and the Lyndon House. All the birdhouses are on view for free starting this Thursday, April 30 from 5-9pm, then on Friday and Saturday from 9-5pm. The event starts at 5:30 Saturday, tickets are $10. Visit the Montessori web site for information about where to purchase them.
Post Script: the birdhouse sold for $120, and i'm pleased that the buyer is my old friend Jay Nackashi! Thanks to Laura Straehla who organized the sale.
